Elevating Ergonomics in Urban Public Transit
For San Francisco’s Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), we developed new seating concepts focused on ergonomics, support, and inclusivity. Our design process centered on the everyday commuter, prioritizing comfort, durability, and accessibility across a wide range of users.
The result is a seat that offers optimized support to reduce fatigue, no matter the length of the journey. By improving posture and enhancing the feeling of well-being on board, we help transform perceived travel time, making commutes feel shorter and more pleasant.
